Education at The Winni Playhouse
Education plays an enormous role at The Winnipesaukee Playhouse, and activities are available for all age ranges and ability levels. Whether you’re a budding thespian or a theatrical vet, there’s bound to be something for you. Don’t picture yourself in the limelight? We even have courses and activities available for those who prefer the backstage life.
Our New Education Program We are very excited to have launched a new and improved education program in January, 2011. Always had an interest in theatre but didn't know how to begin? Now is your chance! Are you an experienced actor wanting to refine your craft? We've got classes for you too! Have no interest in being onstage but still curious about playwriting, script analysis, technical theatre, costume design or other behind-the-scenes aspects? We got you covered! This ambitious program offers something for everyone from Pre-K -parent and child- classes, through to adults and seniors. If your 3 year old has some rhythm or your retired parent could use some daytime activities then check out our new course catalog featuring over 20 classes like creative costume design for kids, improvisation for teens and adults, audition skill workshops and much more! |
